Details and Condition:: French design company, La Maison Desny, made this table lamp between 1929 and 1937. The lamp is made of polished glass plates in salmon color. There are 10 glass plates on top of each other forming a geometric design with a chromed glass plate on top. The foot is made of mirrored salmon-colored glass with a chromed stand. This model is very uncommon, because it was normally produced with green glass. The chromed metal plate at the top is missing. Little is known about the company except that, during its brief history, it undertook some major interior design commissions for the King of Belgium, the French investment banker, Pierre David-Weill, and other wealthy patrons. The Company only operated for 10 years from 1927-1937.
