The spoon is hallmarked in 1915-1932 with makers marks for Georg Jensen. 'Louvre' is a stunning design by Georg Jensen which features a large bowl with brilliant surface hammering. A slightly flared rim with a lightly undulating edge is scored with groups of four vertical lines. This wonderful bowl is supported by organic representations of flowing leaves with berries at their base and flower stems with bold sphere-shaped buds. The pedestal base is also beautifully formed with a hammered surface.
