:Vintage sterling silver bowl with a ribbed edge model 180B (Louvre Design) by Georg Jensen. It is marked with the Georg Jensen hallmark used in the 1930’s and marker 925S, Sterling Denmark and the model number 180B. 'Louvre' is a stunning design by Georg Jensen which features a large bowl with brilliant surface hammering. A slightly flared rim with a lightly undulating edge is scored with groups of four vertical lines. This wonderful bowl is supported by organic representations of flowing leaves with berries at their base and flower stems with bold sphere-shaped buds. The Louvre design is so Called because a similar bowl was purchased as a permanent piece for their collection by the Louvre Museum in Paris in 1914.
