: Art Deco statue of a male bar bender, made out of fonte d'art (supreme alloying of spelter) and covered by a wonderful greenish bronze varnish. The workmanship of the statue reminds strongly on the works of the Max Le Verrier circle of friends which used many different pseudonyms for their Works of which the "Kowas" might be ones of them. The entire statue is in great condition and is typical of this periods fascination with Hercules and Tarzan type male sculptures.
