Details and Condition: A rare bronze Khmer figure of Vishvakarman, Angkor Period, Bayon-Style, 13th Century. Visnu, the “Divine craftsman” is depicted half-kneeling wearing a short sampot and a tiara. As the divine architect of the gods he holds a hand-axe, his special identifying attribute, in the left hand and what seems to be piece of metal in the other. He is adorned with diadem, earrings, pectoral, armlets, bracelets, and anklets.
