: Beautiful pair of art deco bookends Parrots by Georges Van de Voorde, a prominent Belgian sculptor who worked in France. Each bookend is marked Van de Voorde and carries the seal of the Brig foundry of Paris, France. In the early twentieth century, a number of bookend pairs were produced by well-known artists in Europe and the United States, and a good example of such a pair are these Art Deco parrots by Van de Voorde.
